In the days of my youth, I remember the times of trying to make a short film. It would take a lot of work and a hours, and sometimes, I would get so discouraged by it thinking how it would turn out. But by the end of it all, the only thing that matters is you did the best with what you had and you added another work of art into the world that at least one person will be proud of.
This morning, a new film landed on my lap from a good friend of mine, Nate Adamsky, a hilarious comedian who did the sound for this short little picture. Surely, as many of you follow my blog, you know I mainly do the movies that I see in theaters or on Netflix. Yes, this does live on Amazon Prime, but it’s not the usual film I review. It’s more student run and very local both in terms of the central plot and the community I grew up in, which is Westlake Village. Here, you will find young actors with a lot of passion, and a production with a lot of heart. It's a feel good high school story with a lot of sex a d love-related topics that end up in a well written script. While these fine young people have a ways to go, this is surely a terrific start to a wonderful journey for each and every member, whether acting, sound, or directing.
