"The Big Sick" Review - The Definition of True Love

So I was always interested in seeing this film, and I finally got to it. But man, “The Big Sick” is so so wonderful.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s based on a true story about Kumail Nanjiani’s love life. At first it sounds silly, but trust me; the writing and plot behind this movie is so well done and it feels so real that it hurts. But it also is insanely funny and heartwarming. I don’t even know how to describe it. But every actor in this is just perfect and it is overall just such a feel good film. It’s really difficult to balance comedy, heartbreak, religious issues, and relationship issues all in one script. I don’t know if it’s even been done before, which makes “The Big Sick” that more unique. It’s not a cinematic masterpiece, but it is a masterpiece of a film because it’s that original and true to real life.

Please watch this people. You will laugh and cry, and you will be so impressed on how Kumail manages to make a film so damn near perfect.
