"Spider Man: Homecoming" Review - The Best Web Slinger Around

The only thing Sony got wrong was spoiling 75% of the movie in their trailers. But other than that, holy shit, Sony finally got a Spider Man film right!

Homecoming is an insanely funny movie that perfectly combines a high school comedy with lots of Disney controlled action sequences! It doesn’t have too much Tony Stark or battle scenes or high school drama, which gives us a full balance of everything that makes Spider Man so amazing! Tom Holland and Michael Keaton give such gut punching performances that it’s surprising, but at the same time, not really surprising.

Even though the trailers gave most of the story away, it’s still rewatchable and enjoyable enough with plenty of twists to keep you guessing what comes next.

I would call this my 2nd favorite overall Spider Man film, with the top still being Spider Man 2. Even though Tobey Maguire is 1/2 great, I’m still impressed with how good that installment is. But at least Tom Holland is easily the best Spider Man we got. Best enjoy him until Sony decides to take him back.
