"LEGO Batman Movie" Review - An Explosion Of Well Put Pieces

"The LEGO Batman Movie" kicks so much ass. There’s nothing more to it, and it makes up for the last 3 garbage DC movies we’ve been given.

As to say whether this is better than the LEGO Movie is very tough to say. After all, I’m still recovering from the shock I felt 2 years ago of how good that film was. LEGO Batman has things about it that are both better and worse than it’s predecessor, however, it’s still as enjoyable, fun and great as it’s master that came before it. I thought Batman was the best character of the LEGO Movie, so he was the only perfect chatcter I could see having a spinoff film, especially with Will Arnet as the lead voice.

The voice cast (mainly Arnet and Michael Cera), the animation, and the writing are all so well done, as it balances both Deadpool-like humor, slapstick humor, and colorful animation, with a wonderful story that I don’t think any Batman related entertainment has ever tackled, which is pretty damn tough since this hero has existed for almost 3/4ths of a century.

If you enjoyed the LEGO Movie, you will have a ball. You’ll laugh, you’ll have fun, and you’ll even get a bot emotional. That’s the power of Lord and Miller baby.

Two Nebs Up!
