"Doctor Strange" Review - Yes Indeed, The Doctor Is In

And the Marvel Universe just keeps getting better! Dr. Strange is amazing! You’d think after almost 10 years of MCU films, Disney would have nothing else to offer. Well, prove wrong they did.

Let’s get the basics out of the way. Every actor and actress, including Benedict, Tilda, and Chiwetel, are all amazing! They all give such massive grandioso performances that I haven’t seen in a while from a Marvel movie. Plus, the music is freaking godly. Michael Giacchino needs to become immortal.

What’s new to this movie are the effects. You can tell from the trailers that the effects were not going to disappoint. But even you’re not ready for what you’re about to witness. Half of the movie is filled with all these brilliant psychedelic effects, some we’ve seen before, some that feel completely brand new. Whatever the case, the VFX serve as both eye candy, yet also serve a huge purpose to the magic aspects of the MCU. As a result, the post production truly takes you on a roller coaster ride that no other Marvel film has done before. The story is a bit cliche and predictable, but everything else makes up for it 100%

There are two psychedelic movies out this weekend. Choose this one over Trolls. You won’t regret it.
