"Wild" is such a moving and inspiring film and stunningly well made. It reminded me a lot of "Inside llewyn Davis" in the case that it's an incredibly directed Odyssy like film. It's shot in a magnificent way and really shows the beauty of the wildlife surrounding all of us. It is boring at some points, and the writing is good, but besides the spectacular cinematography and editing, the one person that holds this film together is Reese Witherspoon. She is absolutely dynamite in this film and will defiantly give Rosamund Pike some competition at the Oscars. In the first few minutes, she screams really loud and from then on, you know she's about to bring it.Overall, a very enjoyable film lifted up even higher by great direction and a great actress. I'm sure people who have read the book will be immensely proud of the "Dallas Buyers Club" director's adaptation. It comes out in the USA on December 5th. And NO, it's much different than "Into the Wild”.
