"The Nice Guys” is such a load of fun. While it doesn’t compare to other buddy cop films like “21 Jump Street” or “Zootopia”, it’s still so unique since it’s a 1970s film with terrific music and some unique cinematography. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are so damn hilarious in their own unique ways and really give the film just the right amount of adrenaline it needs to stay entertaining. It’s more of a dramidy than a comedy, but the humor that does happen is truly gut busting, and not just some cheap drug or nude-related jokes. The mystery behind this movie is so cool, but it can get pretty confusing if you miss any details, which do move by fast. Unfortunately, it didn’t help that these 4 dumb teenage blondes (no really, they were actually blonde and dumb and very young) next to me couldn’t put down their phone for more than 15 minutes. People, can you do better at the movies please?
Overall, extremely fun, and very exciting, but it does tend to need a second viewing if you’re not careful enough.
