"The Big Short" Review - An Intelligent Ride

So "The Big Short" was just not my kind of film. Not because it's bad or good, but it's simply not my type. You REALLY have to know Economics to get the logistics of what's going on, and I never had a good economics teacher. So some of what was going on I couldn't follow and it kind of ruined it for me.

The pros though are that it's very funny and the cast and writing are both so terrific! The story overall about what happened in 2008 is pretty crazy when you realized what happened, but I think less comedy and more serious moviemaking is needed to make "The Big Short" stand out. I mean, there's gotta be a good knowledgable line between sex and hookers (ala Wolf of Wall Street) and this, right?

Anyways, just not for me, but I bet others will enjoy it, and I applaud the cast and the writing in the end!
