"Creed" Review - A Reboot Among the Legends

"Creed" just blew my mind. I am honestly blown away by how good this movie turned out. You'd think after 5 Rocky sequels, this series would never get its magic back. But thanks to a new wonderful screenwriter and a new brilliant director, "Creed" manages to knock out every 10 minutes. And every 10 seconds in the last 15 minutes of the film. The level of filmmaking is top notch, and Michael B Jordan and Sylvester Stallone just crush it big time both as actors and teammates. The level of honor to the original Rocky, which is still a classic to me, is defined by the chemistry between those two. Together, "Creed" honored the past, and looked to a new generation, and didn't make it just a cash grab, but a truly Oscar worthy movie. It's got intensity and heart that will truly get to your soul.

If you love Rocky and/or terrific filmmaking, you must go see it. Thank you Hollywood for giving me a spin off/sequel that is not a letdown.
