"Black Mass" Review - The Return of the Gangster

"Black Mass"...holy shit what an unbelievable frightening thriller. I have missed that feeling of watching amazing gangster movies, and this one brought that good feeling back. From the writing to the music to the cast (including listening to Cumberbatch do a beautiful Boston accent) to the thrills and shock, Black Mass gets an A on everything.

Also, I have lost interest in Johnny Depp for the past 10 years since all he's done is creepy dark roles or roles he's done before. Depp as Whitey Bulger probably gives his best performance I have ever seen since he first introduced Captain Jack Sparrow. If anything, go see this movie to see how Johnny Depp has finally brought himself back as Oscar worthy!
