I just came out of seeing "Mad Max: Fury Road" and I am now f-ing shocked about what I just witnessed.
After the 99% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a friend of mine's great review, I had to check it out.
I am not the biggest action movie guy, but I was honestly blown away by how good Mad Max came out to be. It's not some cliche action film with dumbass stunts and rap music. It is filled with some of the best effects and stunts I have ever seen in a single film. Combining that with the flat out gorgeous visuals, the spectacular orchestral music, and the awesome storyline, this film turns into more than just a show off film, but a cinematic thrill ride. It feels as if you are riding Space Mountain 24 times in a row.
Fury Road will go into the books for sure because it's not for show off, it's for art.
